First off I'm left handed so I have had to learn to use my right hand to do a lot of things anyways but just to get some good practice in I started going for the ambidextrous shave about a year ago. Seems like it took me a week but after that it was no big deal.

Still learning, but so far, left vs. right hasn't been that much of a difference. I do have a tendency to do more with my right (dominant hand), but as soon as I feel myself reaching or thinking I need to contort to get somewhere . . . oh, hey left hand!

When I voted on this poll, I chose the second category (non-dominant 25%). But that was an error; I should have chosen the both hands category.

I'm curious to know how many folks shave the way I do: I use both hands...on both sides of my face. Some areas and strokes are just easier to do with one or the other hand.

When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

I tried just using my dominant hand for the first couple times because until then I had no faith in my left hand. generally it's just there to meek me look symmetrical and help balance me. I actually did a couple good cuts that way. then I figured I already got over the fear of cutting myself and gave it a go using both. it was a short learning curve and I have yet to nick myself with my left hand.
