    You'll find your new razor to be great. Since it comes shave-ready, don't strop before your first shave so that you have the benchmark of what it feels like right from a great honing. The 5/8 black R. Aust was my first modern razor and it has been great. Enjoy!

    hi do you know any good vendors in the uk for vintage shave ready razors. I just got a butler in good condition for my first razor and its not qute shave ready even though was advertised as so.

    Welcome. My first was a Dovo classic. I got it shave ready, and still love it 5 years in. While my go-to is my vintage Hinckel, I keep the Dovo handy and ready

    I have heard good things of the invisible edge in the UK but don't know if they do vintage or Neil Miller at strop shop
