Depending on how long I'm travelling for, I take 1 or 2 SRs, a small travel strop, my cheap horse hair travel brush, 1 pot of cream. What I don't do is leave something out as I don't have room. I make room. If SWMBO can manage makeup bags, hairdryer, hair straighteners, hair curlers, shoes, shoes and some more shoes, I can manage my shave kit!

Skunkfunk, my roll-up kit is made from 10 oz cotton canvas. The canvas is wax treated but I don't think it's really necessary. Frost River specializes in waxed canvas canoeing packs so it's probably why they use it for the Dopp kit.

That is why I have one big rule when we travel, you pack it you hump it.
