Thanked: 0Had a lovely shave today. Slight bit of razor burn. I think it was to steep an angle. Went across the grain where comfortable and against the grain where it was easier ( side burn area) where I went across the grain is strangley where the razor burn is. Other wise a nice shave. Under chin is smooth as heck and side burns too rest is gratey

If you mean your moustache area then that takes a bit of practice. I find a scooping motion under my nose works but it takes a bit of confidence and practice not to Nick yourself.

Sounds like you may need a little more stretching and cheek puffing, and keep the pressure light as possible, as you muscle memory builds your shaves will get much better. If after a while when your technique is more sound and you're still having problem areas, try different angles of attack or opposite hands, different stretching directions. All the fun is in the journey!

Thanked: 0I love my new shave and do realise half the problem is me but I also feel half the problem is the cheap blade I am using. As for stretching I conquer it needs some serious work

Have you mapped your growth? If not it may pay you some dividends. Using something like this may help:https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/pr...o=w100-h129-nc
Then try to figure out the best stretches for each section, ideally to want to stretch against the angle of growth where you can.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Thanked: 0ok so since my face is looking worse for ware I am going to let that heal before shaving again (maybe a week or so) I have invested in a syptic pencil brought from a pharmacy for a few quid so hopefully next time I wont look like a cheap scifi mummy. This will also give me a chance to double check my facial mapping as when I did it last time the hair was short and I may have messed up somewhere so just check that

Thanked: 38Dan, take a look at [URL="http://www.taylors100.com"]. Tony lives in West Yorkshire. You can contact him. He can help you out. He is also a member here, though I don't know his SRP username.
