Looks like strop paste. It is an abrasive added to the strop that helps maintain the edge of the razor (check out the Strops Forums...tons of info there). My advice...do NOT put this on your first strop. You will need a leather strop for daily use. The paste comes in handy when the razor begins to dull. Just a few passes on the paste will be good to freshen up the edge.

Nice looking razor, and good luck!

Actually, that yellow paste is just a strop dressing, it's not abrasive at all.

As far as I can tell, Dovo pastes come in 4 different flavors: green (6 micron), red (3 micron), white (chalk for the canvas side of the strop) and yellow (conditioner for the leather side of the strop). I don't know anything more about them, sadly.

But I will chime in on not putting an abrasive paste on one's first strop.

Welcome! I think you've made very sensible purchases there. For what it's worth, some words of advice:

    Get your razor honed.
Don't expect too much from your first shaves.
Don't try to get a close shave - go for irritation and nick free, close shaves come with experience.
Stick with it, it can be difficult early on - don't get discouraged.
