Use a trimmer to get it down to stubble. Do normal beard prep, then use a cartridge razor. Unless you plan on shaving there every day, which would be a lot of wasted time, you're not gonna be BBS anyway... That's my opinion.

#1 Tried it and it was scary.
#2 Get real newb, you'll be lucky if you only cut your face twice per shave.
#2 no way you will stretch the skin enough and God forbid you lose your grip when stretching.
#3 Used a str8 to castrate animals on the farm.
You DO NOT want to hear that noise coming out of your mouth.
Use a DE.
works grate

Yeah... we don't use a straight, we use a scalpel. And its as sharp as a razor (yes.. I did try shaving with it... it works great (passes HHT and stuff) but it's not the right tool for the job. Too unwieldy). Definately not something I want done to myself. Especially after seeing the dogs fight over the leftovers after we're done... so I'm not putting anything that sharp near my nads. I did think about it once, promptly nicked myself and am not going to risk anymore. It's hard, and I like the fact that sometimes I am too.
