    Dave5225 is correct about using a pasted strop if you are using crox. .5 crox is equivelant to 16K so it would be the same as the shapton, however, the feel of the blade might be a little smoother off the crox then the shapton. Don't know for sure, since it is your face, but it wouldn't hurt to try both. Just my humble opinion.
