Thanked: 20I have been getting a pretty close shave and last Thursday when I was shaving my upper lip and moved the blade a little laterally and got my upper lip. I immediately applied styptic and it still bled and bled. I've never bled like that before. After three applications of styptic I still bled for over half-an-hour. I have never had to apply tissue to a cut but I did several times. When the blood ran onto the under side of my lip, I made the dumb mistake of puffing it away...Dexter would have loved the blood splatters on the mirror, mirror frame, wall, and vanity. I know NOT to do that again.
I am still avoiding that area when I shave, but it is finally healing up enough I can probably shave over it tomorrow or Thursday without opening it up again.
