Yes and Yes, With Dovo some of the pricing is for the scales, but also most is in regards to the steel but more importantly the grind and quality of grind on the razor. The more time put into the grind affects the price. Also some of their tougher grinds are only done by one or two people. Dovos quality has dramatically improved over the last few years. they are really putting out some great razors.
