My son spent over a year there and from what he tells me, 7om is right on target. He was on base in a fairly safe area most of the time (thank God) and probably had enough time to spend on shaving, though he blew it off most of the time. He's not into it. If you're in infantry, you may not have as much time on your hands. Good luck and thanks for serving.
