Default Which would be better to try as a first hone...Boker or Dubl Duck?

I now have seven razors...my wife may kill me. I bought:

    dovo invisible edge
    j.r torrey
2 bokers (one is a red injun...not sure what the other is...)
    j.a. henkels
    dubl duck
    rogers cutlery

my plan was to get a few different of the highly recommended types to find which one works for me OR to have a seven day rotation. I think I'll add a filarmonica and a wade & butcher at some point.

Does anyone know anything about the Rogers cutlery co? It was my first "shave ready" razor, but it's an 11/16 blade spike point. That's a bit to big for me to use at this point.

No, you're wife may not kill you; your IS going to kill you! Think positive I always say! But, at least you'll die with a big silly grin on your face.

I can see another RAD junkie in the making!

I don't know anything about the company, but perhaps you could be more specific for those who do: do you want to know about the company, or do you want to know more about your razor (a pic might be nice for the later)?

Just play the "it'll save money in the long run" card. And better yet, convince her to use them as well. No better shave in the world than with a straight.

You still have so much father to go!!! Granted I have a few months on you but I have 22 razors, three strops, four brushes, and countless soaps, creams, and aftershaves. Just embrace the madness and bring her home some flowers, take her out to a nice dinner and buy her a new purse/shoes.

Prostrate yourself with your credit card in hand to give her. I wouldn't use the "it'll save money in the long run..." argument. You've already lost that one!!

Funny how these ADs seem to be caught like viruses. The sad (no pun intended) part is there is no known cure...

Joseph Rodgers is the "Royal Cutler" -- knife-maker to the British royal family.

I have one of their razors (blade proudly etched "Royal Razor") -- it works fine.

    HOWEVER:

I have been browsing here, and "Rogers Cutlery" has _nothing to do with_ "Joseph Rodgers". You might want to search the Forums and Reviews.

Just tell her you have RAD right now,and if it gets worse ( it will ) you will enroll in Lynn's 12 step program.

Is the 12 step program a pyramid?

I am only in my 3rd month and I have 8 razors in my rotation and a dozen others on the workbench.
My wife's response is "well that's ok, it's your hobby'
I just have to make sure the one's I buy are really cool, she digs the funky ones. I got an old Boker the other day, she really liked it.
