    The bad news, Unless that razor from AOS was specifically sent out by you, it is NOT shave ready,, Yes we all know they say that , in fact many of the Professional Honemiesters from this forum hone razors for the AOS closest to them, but the razor has to be sent out and there is a cost...
    TI razors from the factory are sometimes pretty sharp even, but the difference between "Factory sharpened" and "Shave Ready" from a pro are night and day...

    Another hint, get a strop that has a Linen/Cotton/Webbing Component you will be much happier down the road
