Thread: Permanent scar?

I did the same thing with my spike point Torrey, except my cut was vertical. I felt a nick and flinched. The flinch turned the nick into a 2 plus inch cut that was deep at the spike end and very thin but shallower at the opposite end. I thought that I was going to have a permanent "dueling scar". It looked bad for a week and then started to lose the scab and fade. Four months later, it has faded to the extent that it is invisible except with very close up careful observation. No one but me notices, and I notice only if I look for it.

about 8 months old and well....... healing It will always show but oh as I said earlier, Chicks dig scars!!
Actually it was a nice boker that I had freshly honed, SWMBO walked in when I had the music up and I guess I still have a "bit" of PTSD... Had a buddy come up behind me and grab me around the neck in a choke hold at a restaurant awhile back He flew over my shoulder about 5 feet but at the last second I slowed him down when I saw it was him. I don't think he will be trying it again...

I have several, being a slow learner and all, all in or around the same area on the left jawline. That's just my favorite spot to slice I guess. Other than the bridge of my nose in a careless moment during a crossover with my right hand to the left side of my face. DUH!! Too funny tho..
All mine are practically invisible in amazingly short times, like 6 or 7 days. I guess I heal quick... ????
I found that hitting them immediately with alum, and I mean pressing it on good and hard, not only stops the bleeding, but aids in the healing. The more they bleed, the more they scar.
Good luck!!!
M-- Any day I get out of bed, and the first thing out of my mouth is not a groan, that's going to be a good day --

Thanked: 6Dave,
One tip, just remember to pull the razor away from your face before changing blade angle. I have two minor slices one on the left jaw line, and one just below the right side burn. At the time of the shave nothing, then the next day two really fine red lines. And that is the only thing I could think of that caused it.

That is exactly what mine do. It takes a day, and then the little lines show up. I hate that, heheh..
