Actually, I think TexasRanger may be saying I'm being sarcastic, and with the hardware displayed in the DP, I'm inclined to agree...with WHATEVER he says..
I was just being funny, I LOVE straight razor shaving, and I haven't actually spent that much money. As far as bang for the buck goes, SR shaving beats everything hands down, it's a complete hobby. I don't think anyone would say shaving with a Bic is a hobby, even if the thing's got FIFTY blades.
I also know it's a poor comparison, but it's a comparison of what I USED to use (though I did also have a 'supermarket' brush, so what was originally alluded was a lie) and what I use now. Got us talking, didn't it?Last edited by carlmaloschneider; 02-02-2012 at 08:16 AM.

Don't forget to add in your health insurance which doubled when they find out you are shaving with a SR.
