Maybe you could have your mom or dad record your first shave and post it on YouTube!

This source says 40x after the shave to clean up the micro-crud off the bevel & 60 x before the shave to make it ready for your face. Just wiping off the blade can leave some of the micro-crud, but will tiny pieces of lint/fabric on the edge...I see it every time under magnification when I hone & I use both cloth and paper towels to wipe the blade. Stropping leaves a blade nice and clean...

Ill probably take up this method of stropping. Sounds like it works for you, so it should work for me!

    Hey Parker,

Saw your signature line in another thread and liked it very much!! ("When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny." Thomas Jefferson) Didn't want to hijack that thread so thought I'd misuse yours a little.

    You sure you're just 14?

    Best Regards,

Haha yeah I'm sure. But yeah, I think I read like a 600 page book on Thomas Jefferson last year, and that was a quote that really stood out to me. I think the meaning of it has become very apparent in this day and age :/ Sad to see it has come true....
    Thanks for noticing

Again. Surely you mean 'again'? Surely it's been a fact many times in many societies for many generations?

It's a great statement, though, and surely a sad reminder of a day when we felt governments were for the people and of the people. Until we realised we weren't the people.

Other people were the people. Other people are always the people; they always will be...
