    Depending on the material and the break you might be able to fix them. There should be some info floating around the restoration board on fixing broken scales

    hey guys I know I have not updated in a few weeks, but have been swamped with grad school and work. A few updates. I recieved my washers and pins and I ordered a file and ball peen hammer that should be here today. I also just ordered some pretty cool black wood scales from whipped dog that I am going to put on my W&B. I will post pictures of the process... good day

    Just got these scales... I need to drill a hole... hopefully it will go well. any suggestions on how to line it up before drilling? this will be my first go around with scaling and pinning.
