Disinfect yes, sterilize no. The only thing that would remain on a blade is Hep-C and that dies in a couple weeks. HIV and Hep-B dies within a couple minutes of being outside the body. As such, honing up and shaving with a razor that is 100 years old is really a non-issue. I've shaved with dozens of vintage blades over the last few years and on recent screen, I'm clean.

Some scale materials are very sensitive to temperatures as well. I wouldn't put my great-grandpappy's razor with celluloid scales in an autoclave.

My cheap and easy solution has been a glass of vodka for it to soak in for each step of the way. I am pretty sure anything that may have been on my duck couldn't have survive the cumulative hours of soaking in vodka.
