Thread: The search for a honer nearby Enschede or Haarlem (The Netherlands)

I live in the Hague, but can travel for free on working days, so both the Hague and Amsterdam work for me!

Hi guys!

I have my own 4k/8k norton nowadays which I have used once. I could use my razor a couple of times afterwords but it seems that I either need to learn how to finish on that stone or get a better finishing stone :P. If you guys do decide to meet up and don't mind an extra person being there, I would love to join in!

Of course! That would be interesting, because I have the Shapton Glass Stones 1/4/8/16K and I believe Rolf has Naniwas. What do you guys think of next week on Friday evening, or do you prefer a weekend?

Yes indeed i have the Naniwas , I have to see if I can Friday , here at home doing construction so little pressure and chaos.

Edit: vrijdag as is no problem. Now place and time.

I won't be able to make it next Friday.
Too busy unfortunately.

Now time and were is the location.
What do i bring along / stones, some razors ??

Sunday is fine for me too. My girlfriend works from 10 to 18 or so, so you're welcome in The Hague!

I thought maybe we could hone one razor for each other and try out each others hones. If we're meeting up in someone else's place, I will bring my Shaptons, maybe my Jnat and nagura, a bunch of razors and maybe my brush. And my camera

Is fathardie also participates?
