Yeah but for less than $20 you can pick up 4 or 5 horse hair brushes and i'm sure you would be happy with at least a couple of them.
You can send me the others.

A brush being floppy doesn't mean it's a bad brush. Floppiness is a characteristic which really has nothing to do with it's quality UNLESS it's caused by a very poor fill meaning sparse fill. I have a custom 30mm brush which is huge and has a very dense fill but it very floppy. Some folks like floppy and associate the "like a cloud" feel with supreme quality.

Keep in mind the reason you have all these badger grades is because badger has always been considered the top cat in shave brushes and through time they have experimented more with grades and fill and handles. Boar and Horse have always been considered "the poor man's alternative" and that's why you don't see grades and fancy handles. Price controls what those brushes are. You don't have that constraint with badger.

I've got a horsehair that does the exact same thing... darn thing even continues to smell like horse even after repeated lather-rinsing and even a shampoo!
I'll stick to badger or boar, thanks...

I know, it's like sticking your nose under the horses tail each time you bring the brush to your face.
But If you lather the horse hair each time you shave with your badger or boar the scent will dissipate over a few more rinses.
I really do enjoy my horse hair brushes for a change in the routine.
