Excellent. Now, since unlike Rich, you seem to be receptive to new ideas, here's another one. You will never be happy with that brown scuttle next to that stunning Waterfall bowl. Order another scuttle in the Waterfall pattern. When your set comes in, sell the brown one here at a discount to offset your cost of the new set. Who knows, by then Rich may have seen the error in his ways and grab it up.

Hmm, I may just do that, though I would have to sell it at a bit of a discount since there is a slight chip in it . I accidentally bumped it on the rim with my mug one evening. So sad. It is very very small, and there is no actual structural damage to it, just a tiny little nick. I figure a 10-15 dollar discount would be in order. I shall see when I get the bowl in.

Well, I can't believe Sara did this, but check the bottom right picture -------> http://www.sarabonnymanpottery.com/moss_scuttle.htm.

Yeah Sara is getting sneaky. The second I finished my purchase of a small waterfall moss scuttle she posted the Ivory scuttle option. I almost called her up to change the order, but I decided to stay with the waterfall color. I can not wait until it arrives.

Just for the record, it's spelled "AYARS". Not that I'm sensitive about it or anything. Not that it matters that it's the original spelling of the family name that dates back to 1664, when Robert Ayars emigrated from England to settle in Southern New Jersey. No, I just wanted to point out your error.

Scuttle is an old style shaving mug with two chambers. The upper chamber holds the soap cake like usual (traditionally with drain holes to the bottom chamber) and the lower chamber is for hot water. The Moss Scuttle has the distinct feature of coming apart one chamber from the next to better seal in the heat when in use and ease of cleaning afterward, as well as eliminating the drain holes for use with creams.
