Broke out the old Semogue Boar brush, figure I better get a few practice sessions in first...open my mind, expand my shaving horizon's, and try my darndest to learn to like a Boar brush....[/QUOTE]
Good luck Andrew, I've spent some money on boars just to give away or up on the shelf to look at, I just can't like them, just my preference, I know you can always change it so give it a whirl, but if I ever find one I,m going badger Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

I like boar. I like badger.
I don't much care for horse.

and Maggard's Lilac yielded a very good lather. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 4206Got the #3 to sparkle tonight.
And at the risk of rounding off any of the stamp, I held to this on the bottom
The reflection is a little deceiving. The stamping is still very tight and crisp.
Make sure you dry the bottom if you leave this standing knot up full time I think. Probably what caused the depth of decay under there, or maybe a custom stand to ensure it stays dry..
I've treated the entire handle to some Renaissance wax so the shine should hold up well for some time.
