    Duct Tape!!!!!!! That fixes everything.

Very sorry to hear the response you received. I was also hoping to hear better. I've followed the thread to see the outcome.

Sorry about your brush. But looking for a positive aspect we all know what the inside of a Simpson brush looks like now.

I don't know what happened, but from the sellers side of the picture, it does look like a dropped brush. But if you Said it didn't then it has to be a swelling issue, but I know one thing , it s a shame because it's a great brush and like Bob said I'd, send it to one of our great brush makers and have them duplicate the handle and reset that knot. After looking at the picture again I find it interesting that there are two flat spots 180' from each other. Does that indicate that these are made from gluing 2 pieces together or could that be a parting line from the mold?

The rest of the crack looks like what I would expect if you hit it with a hammer but those appear perfect, straight, and opposite from each other.

Well, that is a shame to hear the response from Mark.

I am looking forward to seeing what the brush looks like after you attempt to repair it. Good luck.

That turned out well. It does look like a marbled look. How about the strength of it?

I really hope it works out for you.
