My den's rather rubbish, since I live in a flat with a small bathroom with 3 others, in a rather pokey room - my den is basically me shoehorning as much as possible into a small space.
The first photo is the den all packed up, the rest shows everything except my strop (hanging behind my bedroom door) and my DE. I have a bunch of cream samples that I haven't pictured, and another 7 of the glass bowls with red lids, containing TGQ samples (two more are in the wooden bowls) and two Ogallala soap samples. The soap in the Old Spice mug is indeed Old Spice, my dad dug it up in his cupboard and gave it to me since he just uses a Mach 3 in the shower with regular handsoap and a cheap boar brush.
The picture of the boxes of AS shows my latest additions, which I'm very proud of - the EdC and AS splashes from Lagerfeld, Aramis and Tabac (the big 10oz bottles'll last me for years, hopefully), as well as Royall Bay Rhum.
The brushes are a Body Shop synthetic brush, a Semogue 730 with wood handle, and a Tweezerman reknotted with a 22mm silvertip knot from the Golden Nib.
In the drawer with my two King Hones, there's 9 straights in varying states of shave-readiness (with one more overseas being honed and one in the post from Holli). I lined the drawer myself with green felt from a poker set and hot glue, with a few silicon packets to draw out water from razors.
Oh, and the baby oil was for conditioning my strop when I first got it, I now just use my natural skin oils on it.

Thank you for sharing your "shave Den" with us. I enjoyed your presentation. I particularilly enjoyed your honesty and how you expressed how happy you were with your den and different items in the den. I really liked that.

You are a warm person and that came across in your video.

    Thanks again,

Here's mine. Not a lot of shaving gear yet, but it's a start.

Wow! All of the shave dens look great. I do have a question though. I noticed quite a few of you have your strops hanging above waist level. I would think having the strop closer to your waist would be better for stropping. For those of you who have strops above waist level, do you strop up and down vertically instead of back and forth horizontally? If so, how does that work? Thanks!

First, it is a matter of personal preference ...

But I have always thought that stropping at a slight down angle or up angle helps to apply less pressure while stropping... No I can't prove it LOL

I like a slight up angle myself...

Also if you guys want to actually discuss this, I can Split this into another thread in the Stropping forum?????

That makes sense to me somewhat since you could use gravity in your favor to keep the strop taut. Thanks for the reply.

Great news from North Texas! My Wife has been put back on days (for at least the next month) so I get to move back into my master bath!

This, of course, means all new shelving and a bigger, badder, better shave den. She even mentioned tearing out the old cabinet and replacing it with new shelving. I nixed that idea since I don't want to be sucked into remodeling another room when I just finished the kitchen and we have the hall only half done.

I'll be using just simple yellow pine 1x4's, 1x6's, 1x8's, 3/4 inch dowels and 3/8 inch dowels stained with my own secret formula to match the other woods I've replaced in the house.

Tonight I'll be making sawdust!!! There will be a L shaped double shelf with a 1x4 upper and 1/8 lower held together with 3/4 inch dowels, then a triple set of 1x6 shelves 15 inches long stacked 5 inches apart to hold 9 bowls and a corner shelf of 6x6 shelves 4 high. I've got a spot picked out for the strop.

    bwaaaaaahhhhhhh.

Sorry, got a bit carried away.

I'm pretty sure there is already a discussion about strop angle.

Got the new Shave Den done!

Maybe there are benefits of not working........

    Well, here's the pictures.

The last one here is the shelves I finished today before they're loaded down.

No, I don't really use the Burt's Bees. It just looks good sitting there.
