they do look good! how about a pic close up of the blocks at either end showing how the razors are held apart and how did you do the pillow in the top?

I pre-made the pillow, cut the batting to size and thickness, then glued the felt around it. I then Hot glued the pillow in place.
Please forgive the quality of the pictures.. is an old dig camera.

Here's the other end. I cut 2 blocks of wood the glued then together. Is a rough cut But I'll get better..

Here's another view of the pillow.. it sticks out beyond the lid just a bit so the it can surround and hold the razors better.

Super professional job ... I especially like the cushions. What is the maximum length of a razor that can fit in the slot?

I didn't think about that until you mentioned it. I just checked and largest razor that will fit into the box is 6 1/2" .. Hmmm, Back to drawing board.. I have 5 razors that will not fit in the boxes, they aren't in my rotation but would like to protect them better.. SO, I'm making a 2 tier tang grooved box now.
