I'd buy one (or two!)
I'd like to put my name on the list as I'd be willing to order a couple.
I am sending a pm with questions.
Thanks,
Steve

Thanked: 234Any one considering one of these should go for it, they're very well put together. My blades are all on the small side, but the normal sizez 4/8s fit in, and the top row takes the longer 6/8 nicely.
Come recommended from me, I'm sure mine will see a lot of use.

I can't believe I forgot to write something here.
I ordered one of these to store my current rotation. I have to say, that this might be the best bargain out there right now. The craftsmanship and care in their construction is obvious.
I will say that two of my biggest razors (a 9/8 Wedge from Traveler and a 8/8 Chandler with very large and long scales) do not fit. I had a feeling this would be the case going forward. it would be difficult to build a box that would fit "normal" razors and these.
If you think you might need one...you are wrong. You DO need one.

Nice work. The red lining adds a touch of elegance.

Thanked: 234I had mine done in green, and I think it looks great. It's one of those items that is quite unassuming, but will be used day in day out.
Decent fella to deal with, well packaged and a prompt delivery.

Thanked: 20I've always wished I had a nice, classy box to keep my razors but I could never bring myself to spend the $$$$$ to have one made from birdseye maple or burl. That's why I love GibII's boxes; they fit the bill in more ways than one.
I think the 2.0 is perfect for my needs since the tang-rests have been widened to accommodate even the thickest of spines (they're now 1/4" - 1/3" wide; I can't be bothered to dig up my ruler). His two-tier tang-rest system can be worked to fit even your 9/8 wedge, methinks.
I got two of GibII's 7-day razor boxes in green felt (one 1.0 and one 2.0) and I've gotta agree with gregs656, they're awesome! The cushion keeps all my razors in place; no rattling!
To echo smokelaw1's comments, the workmanship and attention to detail are in excess of the cost of one of these babies and what GibII has here is the solution for all of you guys out there who keep your razors in mugs; outright shameful. I also like the way they look; speaking to this, I placed them on SWMBO's dresser this morning and it was still there tonight! She's been home all afternoon and didn't feel the need to hide them!Last edited by Ichinichi; 06-29-2009 at 01:42 AM.

Very nicely done!
I just got the box I ordered from GibII -- I ordered one in red felt. It is very nice. Well made, too. Great job! These are super value, in my opinion.
