Thanked: 10New 7-day razor boxes
Been looking at razor boxes for quite a while now and found most are a little bit pricey fer me as of late, so I decided to make a months worth of them and have to admit I really impressed myself..
I stained the boxes with red mahogany after pre-treating the wood, sanded the boxes down again leaving patches of stain on the wood (I wanted to get an antique look) then stained with 2 more coats. I then lined the bottom of the boxes with a red felt and added a cushion to the lid (also lined with red felt) to hold the razors in place with the lid closed.
I didn't get real fancy with the type of wood I used, just basswood (VERY Cheap, found at most hobby stores and easy to work with).

Gib, go to your profile here, there is a place where you can have a gallery and upload photos. upload them then when you click on the photo, underneath it are two links, can't remember which but one of them you cut and paste into your post. voila!
