I don't think it's too bad at all. 40 cents is a good price. Here in Munich,
Scuttles like yours cost a fortune.

But you are right, somehow reminds me of an ashtray. Perfect for gentlemen, which smoke during shaving

What I love is how the word 'mister' is in quotations.... as though it is a facetious or dubious claim about the person who would use it.

I see that you've had several offers of a dollar, but to be honest, I'd happily shell out $15 or $20 for that without batting an eyelash if I wasn't strapped at the moment.

I think that's a very nice traditional scuttle, and it looks a bit larger than mine.

    Default World's Ugliest Shaving Mug

    Gentlemen,

That mug is priceless, a museum piece. What character. I would love to meet the person who designed it and explore his bizarre mind.

The mug reminds me of a dowdy debutante pouting for not getting her way.

    I love it.

    Regards,

    Obie

I don't think it's ugly. It just has character.

That's what I always say about my ex..

But the scuttle is in use now, except for the brush slipping into the water now and then, it's a fairly useful tool.
It does take a lot of space :/
