    Default Classic Shaving stand

I bought a nice stand from classic shaving. It holds my straight and holds my brush upside down which lets it dry real well. It was $65.00 a few years back but worth it. You only live onece, so sometimes you have to treat yourself if you want to.

I just rest my brush horizontally over my (small) shaving cup.

The handle base rests on one lip and the base of the knot rests on the other side... if that makes sense!

Works fine for me -though my brush is a cheap, but functional one.

    Good luck with the search,

    Michael.

I use one of those semogue stands from vintage scent that has a place for a razor too (and Bruno is great guy to do business with).

Though note I decided that holding a straight there wouldn't be a smart move corrosion-wise, so it's home to my DE.

I don't use any, I shake vigorously after rinsing and then gently brush it against a dry towel to get the last of the moisture off, then stand upright.

It's been serving me well for over 2 years on the same EJ brush.

    Cheers

I have some other stands in the back under the sink
    that do not.

I bought it at a local cutlery store so I cannot give
you a web site to get another. The price was
    less than $20.

I simply screwed a couple of drywall screws into the wall just far enough apart that I can rest the handle of the brush between the two screws.
Cheap, but I am in college so I am allowed a few shortcuts.

I bought my first razor, brush and stand from Art of Shaving. Mine is pewter, cost about $75 if I remember correctly. I also bought the cheap plastic one they have. Both holders hold the brush only.
