perferd have you got any experience with a shaving brush ? You would be well served to read up on the basics if you haven't got some hands on experience. In general a 23mm diameter knot with a loft (height) of 50mm or less will be a good soap puck brush. When you go bigger in knot and especially loft you are getting more into the realm of a cream brush. At least in my experience. So if you are going to be a face latherer with soaps a 48 or 50mm loft and a 23 or less knot is probably what you would be happier with.

OTOH, if you want to go both ways .,.... with lathering I mean .... then a larger knot/loft might be in order. AFAIK, Vulfix has a reputation of being floppy ... as in soft. Simpsons had more body but are made by Vulfix now so I don't know. I don't know about Omega either so reading reviews if you can find the would be a good thing. Otherwise you may end up like me with 20+ brushes.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

If you want a seriously in depth review and comparison of each brush you might try shavemyface.com. There are some major brush aficionados over there.

Vulfix Super Badger. I have it and it has been flawless! Great with soaps, great with creams, it never stunk like badger or lost any hairs. It looks just as good today as when I bought it. It feels just as soft as my plush silvertip, and is more versitle with the creams.

It is well balanced to meet all your demands and that is why I recommend it.

    Good Luck,

    Pabster

It sucks when I have this listed on 2 websites and the votes for each brush are like 3, 3, and 3 lol....I was hoping for something more like 6, 2, and 1....
