I think $35 is quite fair as long as the shipping charge isnt more than $15 with all the packaging you might need.
Also one thing to think about that I really appreciate on the items I own that are one of a kind or hand made, is that they are signed by the artist. In my opinion that makes it more valuable to me on a sentimental and monitary basis.

$35 sounds around the upper limit of what I'd go, but it's within reason considering it's handmade and all. I also agree with the signature comment.

Thanked: 369Thanks guys for the feedback. I will definately sign and date the work. As far as shipping, the mugs themselves weigh just over 1 lb. and they are very sturdy. With just bubble wrap, peanuts and a priority mail mug box I think I can keep the weight under 3 lbs. I've sent out the Col. Conk mugs that way without any reported breakage and they are much more fragile than these. Now just let me work out a few more details on production, etc and I'll let you know when I'm ready to go.

I had Scott make me a personalized mug, and although I havent seen it in person yet (Im on the road at the moment) the photos look awesome, hopefully he will post some here. I will let you all know what I think when I use it to shave, Im very confident it will be my favorite by far!

Thanked: 0Couple of thoughts:
1) I've been looking for a set up that would function like a Moss Scuttle but be made in two pieces. If I could get a larger container to hold this mug I'd have it beat.
2)As for design: I'd be interested in a made-for-SRP design numbered when you sign them. That way: a) I'll have a reminder of this group, b)the collectibility goes up and c)you can make some dough by producing a series per year and/or a series for each shave site.
Regards,
Bob

I got mine in this weekend, made with two barley sheaves and a hop cone. It turned out very nice. I'll get some pics and post them shortly (everything is half packed and unpacked at the moment).

I'm thinking the SRP logo would look nice on that mug...sitting my bathroom counter!
