The Powerball idea is sounding better and better!

Believe it or not, some people within the friendly confines of SRP, may own less than four brushes. But, even if you have one, you have a favorite. Perhaps a favorite brush with a good story or a photograph of a brush with a great background, or in a unique place? I will, someday, become one of the many that have multiple brushes, but I'm fighting my lifelong training by my parents to be happy with what works good.
Just a thought. And, no bringing in ringers, as in, professional models!! Well, OK, models accepted.

I would like to suggest a contest that is a bit different. What if we had a submission of pictures (drawn, created, bought ect.) of brushes that fit a theme. Such themes could be natural materials, unusual materials, cartoon themed, or my personal favorite --career themed--(brush matches the user, like a plumber brush, or fireman's brush).

This way someone can craft it, draw it, find it and buy it, just as long as they submit a picture. This way we can all participate. I really think that career themed brushes could be a blast, but other themes could work.

Another excellent idea! The brush should only be part of it. Any brush should do . Lets start combining these ideas and get a concrete idea going!
Post ideas as many times as you all wish. It would be cool to have something everyone can compete with!

Crazy idea........ How about vintage customs or restores. A step by step how and what to do step by step with pics and all for the newbie brush resto job. From popping the knot out to polishing the handle to how much epoxy to use or if u have to plug up the hole more and replacing the knot

Good idea for a thread, however it has been pointed out that not everyone restores brushes. A one post entry is key, I think! Think about something everyone can do? Something fun!

How about a fun one. Lathering up with something other than a shave brush. Tooth brushes, make up brushes, Bart's tail; the more inventive/unique the better.

Lets get some more ideas so we can start a contest! We may never get 15 suggestions, so by tomorrow night, Bart and I will get with the moderator, theBigSpendur, and see about working out a contest incorporating most suggestions submitted. How does that sound?
