    I wonder about this.
If you read the article, you will see that he refers to me as the originator of the team and the author of the first reviews. My name as author is just under the article's title. Mark (Mantic59) wrote the Foreward.

No problem at all. I am happy that more shavers are discovering synthetic brushes.

You fund that Muhle softer than a Badger ?
Compared to other Synthetics like Omega-FS ?

The Muhle Black Fiber and Silvertip Fiber V2 are softer than most badgers, except for the very top of the line silvertips, IMO. I have not personally tried the Omega, but other team members have and rate them highly. In the same price range, the H.I.S. 28mm scored very high marks. The newest brushes from Edwin Jagger, which were not available during our tests, also are among the best available,

The Muhle knots are very nice. I have no problems using boar, badger or synthetic, a good brush is a good brush. I think the factory lofts could be shortened a bit for optimum performance but that's just my opinion. The original H.I.S. knot is a good one too, especially when shortened a bit. Muhle on the left, Shavemac on the right, both 23mm knots.

Beautiful work! Are the handles stock items or did you make them? I especially like the amber one, and would love to get my hands on one.

I agree that the H.I.S. knot would be improved significantly by a shorter loft. The Mühle's are a matter of personal choice. When the V2 silvertip fiber became available, I argued for shorter lofts than the V1 knots because the fibers are thinner. I am pleased with the result, though YMMV, as always.

Every knot in every currently-available Mühle brush is available directly from them by special order. Just contact them with your request and they will provide the details.

I have a synthetic I got from a shop in Manhattan called NY shave company.

Great brush, and lathers better then some of my badger brushes. I love it, and am eyeing the FS synthetic!
