I love to slap that lofty brush on my face until I can't even see my eyes; then I just scoop it out with two fingers so I can see to shave.
If I could get a mop made of badger; I'd mix my cream in a 5 gallon Homer bucket.
I keep a bottle of Windex in my shaving den (small cramped bathroom) to clean up the collateral damage on the mirror & walls.
No help with a bucket size badger John, but than we have boar:

A cigar lighter, maybe? I have one of those in my collection (different design) ; I was told you could light a cigar with it.

It is actually a pipe lighter. When lit and held horizontal the flame is directed downward through that large hole and it is very efficient in lighting a pipe. I hear that one is a 45 year old zippo.

That Lighter has never lit a pipe.at least one with tabacco in it gets used 20 times a day and still going strong.

Not sure on that. I have seen videos of people making knots and they hand shape them in a cup type thingy. They do not trim the tips at all. If they did it would lose its soft feeling and be incredibly scritchy. They trim the end that goes into the handle.

I thought Badger hairs were trimmed, but not boars since boar tips split and become softer.

As I understand it they don't trim the tips on quality badger brushes. Look at a good brush (I just checked mine out) the tips are not trimmed.
