Thanked: 4942The 30mm knot brush is a Shavemac and it is way way way awesome. Takes up most of the bowl in my small Moss scuttle and I just love it. I got it at Vintagebladesllc.com. They also have a 28mm if you want a tad smaller than gigantic.
Have fun.

Thanked: 4942Rooney also has a really cool new travel brush that ClassicShaving.com will have out shortly. The brush goes on the inside for travel and then when you need it, you pull it out and screw it onto the carrier. A definte winner !!
Enjoy.

And I really am gonna try to hold off on any more brushes........

Thanked: 45Lynn,
After all the razors I've bought (my enthusiasm for them is definitely your fault) it's time for a little payback! The first link is to a thread about the original prototype variable loft brush, and the second to the production version. It comes in either a lightbulb or a fan shape, and in effect, does the same thing as the old barber trick of holding the brush by the base of the hair to make it firmer and narrower. Of course you can shorten it to use on soap when you want it stiffer, or you can retract it to push up the remnants of the lather for one last pass.
