Thanked: 9I swear I won't buy another brush!
At least not for a long time, and then only a replacement.
Just ordered a size 12 HMW in horn from Cathy (Colonial Drug). She was most helpful and will include some soap samples.
Cheers

I just got a Vuflix pure badger brush tonight and my wife got a silvertip (as part of the Merkur Futur set on classicshaving.com) and I'm already feeling brush envy. I see a custom brush from Matt somewhere in the future so I can re-gain my household brush superiority. I suppose I do have two brushes now to her one, it's just not the same. That silvertip is just so soft. Good luck, I see many, many brushes in my future .

Thanked: 9Well, I have a custom silvertip from Matt with ivory handle, as well as a vintage silvertip something and a vintage Plisson something (after passing along some other silvertip brushes...) not even counting the Proraso and Burma boars and the C-M travel badger. Oh, and the B&B Finest is coming...
This is bad! I need to sell something to reduce the headcount. I have decided the vintages are the first to go - because I love Matt's ivory handle, and can't imagine not liking the B&B Finest and the new Plisson... Too many left anyway but I'll worry about this later.
Cheers

Thanked: 9I second this - be careful!
On the other hand, if she's going to be pissed - it's probably better to do it in one major blow and then you're set. It *might* be better than many small problems over an extended time period...
Good luck!
