Thanked: 2284The golden nib has DE heads that you could make a custom handle for. But, ya, I guess all you'd have to do is tap the wood handle correctly to the threads on a 3 piece DE.

By wonky do you mean that the wood up against the head would look wrong? I can sort of see how that would be, the collar looks nice, and as you say it solves the thread issue.
