    That is a great looking combination. The ivory bits near the center band as well as on the other items are a really nice touch.

    I have a LV brush made by Rodney Neep to celebrate the birth of my son, it has a 1/4 oz gold maple minted in 2013 (year of his birth) embedded in the base.

    Such a lovely green tint all around (will post a pic).

    This goes to him, along with my Wade 'Magnum Bonum' when he's of age.

    The Argentine always go back to kind of a not quite so desirable color as it dries and is usually lighter than what you are seeing in the pics in this thread. When you cut or grind it, the sawdust resembles yellow cake crumbs.

    The bad news is that LV is scarcer than hen's teeth. The good news is that unlike ironwood, there aren't 250 different "imposter" woods called that around the world.

    Very nice work. Hoping to try my hand at a brush in the next few weeks. Haven't turned in about 20 years but I am getting inspired! Actually have some nice looking ironwood of some sort on deck.
