Nice brush Andrew, looks near perfectly profiled to that Texas stunner that came up north for its vacation.
Neat idea using the stacked laminates. Turned out super cool sir!

Next time I may try a high gloss finish on this material, to see what pops up. I think that would look good. I used Hard Wax oil on this one. The kind I currently have is a low mat sheen which I think also looks good.

Thanks Mike. Not quite exact to the Texas 2 band, but very close I think. If I had to be nitpicky, I'd say Tom's brush is more curvy than this. More like a Kardashian in a girdle with flashy high heels on.

    Hey Andrew
Have you ever sanded the finish off of a hockey stick? ... they ARE carbon fibre now right?
Sounds like scales and a custom CF brush !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I might have to google that Mike. Is carbon fiber or some type of graphite? If it's carbon fiber, I may need carbide tools to even touch it.

I have 2 composite sticks here. One is a broken Easton Synergy I broke the blade on, flipped it around and stuck a wood blade in the other end. Might get sacrificed I'm thinking.

My research tells me most of the new ones are graphite, which is carbon fiber. Some also have a combination of any of the following. Wood, aluminium, kevlar, fiberglass, and some even titanium.
