They ain't 8 bucks now, and are not in great shape, after you pay a hundred bucks for it, then have it restored then put a 200$ knit in it then your up to 500$ or about. At 8$ you should have bought a couple thousand , better than Apple stock when it was 12$.
Now Tom that's a heck of a deal, what kinda drink? Tc“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

Thanked: 4206Finally got the C-mon hollowed out!
Stuff in the brush knot area was like nothing I've tried to remove before. Bonded to and muted my mill ends in moments as soon as it started to bite.
Persevered and got past it into sawdust. The rest emptied quite well.
Now to the snarling iron!
You can just see the embossed dent areas from the inside. These are what I hope to pop back out and smooth up some..
All in the hopes of removing that unsightly ding..
Really hoping to figure a way to vid the snarling process. We shall see.

That is a-boat the coolest thing ever, Mike!
Boy, if you could figure out a way to make the iron vibrate you would not need a hammer!
Most impressive!

Thanked: 4827Next he will have a cam on the shaft of an electric motor so all he has to do is move the handle. I have to say that is nothing like what I thought you were doing. That is a slick system. I am impressed with it. Richard is certainly a wealth of knowledge, and completely free with it. I think you both deserve a round of applause for this one.

I am seeing a plastic disc. Tough stuff. Deeply engraved as a big square-cut ring gear.
Mounted to the spindle of that drill-press. Set-up to rub on that iron about where you were striking it. Some lube. Tension, speed, all are wonderfully adjustable.
That iron working and you just concentrating on the handle would be a home run?
