Alright I'll work on finishing tomorrow .. I think it will b nice I saved the handle .. Wasn't an expensive handle I just wanted to try a brush restore.. Epoxy cork and I think it will b complete .. How did u determine the loft size for future reference.

Could I use CLear silicone instead? I'm gonna attach a pic of the whole without brush tell me what you think

Thanked: 1184I think it's what ever works best for you? More loft is more bend in the hair. (floppy) If you want it stiffer set it lower. Glad you saved the brush. The first is always a learning experience. I will let pixel speak for himself but I am guessing years of experience and the feedback from those he makes brushes for tells him what is average.
Didn't see the pic before I posted. Looks like a lot of hole in there. And your going to want to center everything. I would still super glue that crack from the inside before setting the knot so as to keep glue off the paint. Yup gonna center everything and epoxy tomorrow but I think it will do its job lather and it will look decent so I'm happy .. How long after epoxy set can I use it?

Thanked: 20275 min epoxy,couple hrs. I only use silicone when someone is unsure of the loft they want.Is not a way to do a permanant bond.
