"Sea cow" is the common name for the Order Sirenia, which includes manatees and dugongs, which are still around, along with a recently extinct member (can't remember the specific name) along with a bunch of extinct relatives. The extinct members are known only from their fossils, so I am assuming this is fossilized bone from one of the extinct varieties?

Thanked: 2027Correct,the fossil bone comes from the arctic,the 22k lb animals are long extinct.
