Interesting. Mine is almost exactly the opposite. Motor around 148, pump section 120, oil reservoir 105 (all approximate from memory). What kind of a pump do you have? Mine is a Robinaire.

Harbor frieght, snagged it new on CS for 40 bucks, only downside with it is it has to be used outside as it mists oil vapor.
Ran it all day today, pulls max vac, works fine.

I was wondering why I had not heard from you !
Very well done, the systems looks nice. I hope to see in person some of the stabilized wood brushes one of these days.

    Good advice!
Always read ALL the directions and comments. Tips and tutorials on manufacturers sites are valuable also.

Some resins react to UV light and will become a thick slurry or a solid.

You are correct to suggest keeping the resin cool or cold, it will last a lot longer that way.

Some resins also react to water and will thicken or not polymerize / harden if the water content is too high.

UNLESS the resin is made for green wood or states that moisture does not matter, Dry the material to be stabilized as much as possible before stabilizing

Just some 'heads up' from about thirty years work with resins. Modern resins are job tailored. There are also many more resins available than back in the day when there were about three suppliers that made all the resins and we used the very few available for everything.

I'm going to assume we're talking about a polyester resin here.

Actually, not. We are talking about a heat catalzing resin called ZK-TR90, or Cactus Juice, depending on who you order it from.
