My sentiments exactly. Essentially, Universities and Colleges function no different than the next one (to a point, some are better than others, but they all give a higher education). It's all in how you sell it that allows them to attract new "customers".

I'll give you a little metaphor- do you need a $500 custom or vintage razor to get a good shave? Does it offer anything functionally better than a $100 razor, or for that matter, a $10 one? Nope, not one bit, but you ENJOY the looks and feel of that high priced razor, making it desirable and a rational decision to buy it.

Just my two cents... Now, the COST of said higher education is another story altogether...
