Although I have heard my share about the deterioration of the generations, it is one of the few areas that I leave alone. Why? We don't know what it is to be them. I use music as an analogy for this....I don't believe (righty-O Neil, no empirical data) that an 18 year old today can 'hear' the music I heard as an 18 year old the same way. There can be an appreciation, possibly something deeper but we are all flotsam in the stream and you can't enter the same water at the same place twice......"Hey Joe, where you goin' with that gun in your hand?"
