Lady Astor was the first female Member of Parliament who was noted for exchanges with Prime Minister Winston Churchill…during one social event, Lady Astor said to Churchill, "If you were my husband, I'd poison your tea," to which Churchill responded, "Madam, if you were my wife, I'd drink it!"

Yeah, I've read a lot on Churchill...brilliant man...good man and a very funny man. He actually fore-saw what Hitler was up to when everyone else was doing exactly what we're doing today...dithering with some very dangerous people. As well, he was on to Stalin but everyone ignored him...the result was the Soviet block and 40 years of Cold War...anyway, very interesting man and I would imagine he could be a kick in the ass be around in the wit-humor sense.Quote:
