Thanked: 177The germans were making kerosene jet fuel out of coal in 1937. And why cant we figure out how to do the same? Nobody has more coal than we do. Technology will always find more oil. New ways to drill, deeper, under lakes sideways etc. As a matter of fact, we will all turn to oil eventually! No wonder that stuff stinks so bad!

Thanked: 3228The same people who thought they were there in the first place then thought they had been removed to Syria ahead of the attack on Saddam. I wish I could get away with that when I am wrong for an excuse for an ooooops. I literally don't take anything political at face value any more. If their lips is moving they must a lyin. All sides spin an issue.

There are a lot of strong opinions, i'll add mine.
We need to stay out of it.
If the UN wants to step in, that's fine. But we've lost too many of this nations men and women in our armed services over the last 12 years. We need to take care of those vets that survived the war in Iraq and Afghanistan instead of creating more war vets.

Just a bunch of crap to prop up the petro dollar. If we can control the region the world will have to continue to buy and sell oil in dollars. When they do transfers in dollars they are charged a percentage on the transfer. It keeps the FED going despite its foolishness. In recent years Russia, China, Australia and Japan, and others have been thinking about replacing the US dollar as the global reserve currency, which would replace the US as a world leader. These are also reasons why we got rid of Saddam Hussein and Mommar Kadafi, they were looking to get out from our thumb and create a new reserve currency.
Edit: Now all we need is for Russia to come out of the North and China to come from the east what a party!Last edited by nun2sharp; 08-28-2013 at 02:26 AM.

Thanked: 1936Personally I think we need to mind our own business and look inward at our own problems before finger pointing and being a world police...plenty wrong under our own roof.
