Grats!
From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Thanked: 33She is lovely. Congratulations!!!! Life has changed for you now....be patient and kind.
Enjoy fatherhood. My son is only four, but it has gone by so fast. People say it all the time, but I only now truly understand how fast time can pass by. Cherish these moments while you can.

Thanked: 2284Beautiful little girl you got there. congratulations. How'd that first poop go???? ( The dreaded Meconium!!!) My little girl is 17 months now. she arrived into the world via C section. I had to deal with the first few poops because my wife was recovering in bed. I used an entire pack of travel wipes trying to get that stuff cleaned up. Just like old, thick molasses!!!

I'm sitting here reading all the posts (I posted earlier so I get clicks on additional posts) from new fathers, their delight in becoming fathers and the shotguns they are going to have by the front door when their daughter's first date shows up. Because of all their heartfelt expressions I got reminiscent and cast back in time and went over the birth of my three children when reality struck when I realized that my youngest is NOW half of my current age and he turned 40 in July. Yes, young fathers, time flies by quicker than a jet. Take lots and lots of pictures, mentally slow down time and enjoy the moment (cast it in aspic if necessary).
