Although I still live in Canada, this thread makes me appreciate my west coast home that much more. There was a stiff frost this morning...

You were lucky to be able to walk to school, when i was a kid we had so much snow i had to crawl the 10 miles!

Buckle up folks in case you haven't read it yet another round of deep freeze is coming Historic freeze could break Midwest temp records | The Chronicle-Journal. The hits just keep on coming, been a hell of a winter so far. Come on March is all I can say.

PS.
If it is cold, putting about a half tank of high test no-alcohol can make it a heck of a lot easier for your battery to start your car. Alcohol cools the charge and can make starting very iffy.

They don't make them hills like they used to no more! Now you'd be lucky if it's uphill one way and downhill the other - somebody's cutting corners and skimping on them slopes! Originally Posted by rhensley
