Sitting waiting for a craigslist customer in -4f with steady 15 mph winds with gusts of 30-35. My eyes are officially frozen open and the moisture in my nose is no longer moist, it is more solid ice.

Finally got some 'weather' here in Sou FL. Down to around 48F above this morning. It's 53F right now, projected to hit a high of 60. Too cold to go out of the house ........
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 3228We got up to -21C/-6F today and being 3PM I don't think it'll climb anymore. It's amazing how far south this Arctic vortex is affecting things. The old furnace is getting a workout, I don't want to see the natural gas heating bills for Dec/Jan.

I've been helping a non straight razor user about the possibilities of replacing a chunk out of his father's razor for display only/it is going to be interesting!!
Anyway he'd sent me this link that will show you the current temperature at Moose Jaw SK!!

They don't make them hills like they used to no more! Now you'd be lucky if it's uphill one way and downhill the other - somebody's cutting corners and skimping on them slopes!
I say if you've got yourself a good old fashioned hill, hold onto it, some day soon they'll be worth their hilliness in gold.

And my guess, Jimmy, true Southerners with temps in the 40s-50s are wearing snowmobile suits when they go out? In northern Minnesota I still see some of my fellow citizens wearing shorts when it's below zero. I'm not kidding. Sure they're not taking walks outside, but going to the store, refueling their vehicles, etc.
