Cowboy boots dead, thrown away this afternoon by wife, holes in the soles, told, "It's not the 80's anymore!!!", forbidden to order another pair.

Sigh...the times they are a-changin'...so she's ordered me a pair of Lord Fauntleroy boots, they're Clarks, I do know they're a good boot, and these look OK, but doubt I'll be able to get the loud stompin' noise I could get from my 20 year old boots...now all I'm missing is paying $50k for a Harley that I'll ride about 5 miles a decade with, just like all the other wannabe's in my hood...gag!

No offense to your wife, but I don't care for the two tone toes. Maybe if you had a Harley dripping a little oil on them...

I'd wipe out a city block and lord knows who else if I ever rode a motorcycle....maybe I'll get tough and drip some Tuf-Glide on them and scrub them down with a lubricated razor sock....

I thought the two tone was from kicking A....

But then the stitching would be colored also.

Pretty sure a man is supposed to get his own boots dirty/stained, not get them factory installed.
I like wingtips. My wedding/funeral shoes are black wingtips. Dad wore wingtips, so it tears me up to see this interpretation. I'm weeping softly as I write this yet can imagine how swell the boots would look with a pair of worsted wool bib overalls.

Not saying the Himilayan is bad but salt is salt...

    I went off topic!

Many impurities in different salts but for me not any taste difference.

I remember long ago seeing a picture of some poor underpaid person walking in a salt bed scraping up some salt for the gourmet market in another country and wondering if the person eating that salt at a high premium thought about the scabs etc on the feet of the people that walked on it....

Did I hear Harley boots? Here's a pair that's a right proper example of what a riding boot should be. Made by Dayton Boot, Vancouver BC, Canada...eh?

A link for 32t about Himalayan salt here, well worth a read. Seem to use less of it than table salt for seasoning. Funny thing is it is sold here as salt blocks for cattle and they love it. Cheapest way to buy it, and that is what I get and crush it up from there.
